Support LGBTQ+ Teens by Upping Your Skills
Are you a parent/guardian, youth services provider, or educator working with teens?
If so, this training is ideal for you or anyone working with youth. This workshop will give you the skills to better support queer youth in their daily life or work. The YWCA Clark County Prevention team will share how to facilitate their Teen Dating Violence 101 workshop, which focuses on the ways dating violence can specifically show up in queer teen relationships. You will also learn ways to support queer youth, as well as get more information about interpersonal violence prevention efforts.
Worshop will take place at YWCA Clark County Community Office:
3609 Main Street
Vancouver WA 98663
Register by connecting with Ashley Giha, Domestic Violence Prevention Specialist on YWCA’s Prevention team.
