CASA Clark County Change a Child’s Story Campaign
Change a Child’s Story! is a Call to Action for Clark County to stand up and support abused and neglected children. CASA–Court Appointed Special Advocates–is an effective, volunteer-driven program of the YWCA Clark County whose advocates help vulnerable children find a home where they can flourish.
Being a CASA volunteer requires making a commitment to children and our community. The CASA’s role is not always easy. But, as CASA volunteer Judy Walters says, “When you see a child reunited with their family, or adopted by another family, you know you have made a difference.”
A substantial federal grant expired this summer, and now Clark County CASA needs your support to fill the gap! You can play a role in our campaign by supporting our vital work through making a donation today, and by helping us spread the word to support Change a Child’s Story!
Your donation will also help us build a better, more sustainable CASA program to help ensure our community’s abused and neglected children have a chance at a better life. When we support our community’s most vulnerable families and children, we are all stronger and better. Please consider a gift today–our goal is to raise $120,000 by August 31.
